For much of my life, I was a total relationship loser. Then I finally figured it out - and used some of my new skills as a Marketing Strategy Consultant.

A purebred German from Hamburg, living on the US West Coast since 2009. It's my husband's fault. One day, I traded the consulting career for something I should have done years ago: writing books that had been quietly piling up in my head.

They live in the space where self-help meets real life, practical, honest, and written with the conviction that useful does not have to mean boring. My first book, Two Twins Make a King, is out now. The Secret of the 3-Legged Table and The Favor Principle are coming soon. And more are in the making.

100% dog mom, now cat tamer, enthusiastic, but unexceptional cook, a person who names her kitchen appliances, married to Roger for 25 years - and still mistaken for a fresh couple. Seems we're doing something right, right?
