Carla Salvo was raised in the Northeast United States, but has made the Pacific Northwest her home. In addition to being an artist and writer, Carla loves animals and spends time working with rescued horses. She is also currently working on a sequel to her latest title, Just Say the Word, and a short story collection. A former elementary school Art teacher, Carla plans to write and illustrate a childrens' book, as well.
