Native to San Francisco, I have been an educator, school counselor, therapist, consultant, spiritual counselor, poet and writer for over 40 years. I hold graduate degrees in Counseling Psychology, and Educational Leadership, Certificates in Poetry Therapy and Reality Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Expressive Therapies. I developed Still Woman (stillwoman.com) as a process of spiritual counseling, contemplation, reflection and interaction for those who seek to reframe physical, psychological and spiritual health and well-being. As a lay contemplative, I engage the wondrous and mysterious workings of The Sacred. My relentless optimism and extensive training enable me to be creative and focused in a context of unconditional regard for all who undertake this holy endeavor. I have dedicated my work to addressing these Essential Questions: "How do we come to know and fulfill our life purpose? How is our intention influenced? How might we return to The Source and access forces of renewal always at hand when we remove the barriers?" I am drawn to this ageless task: Be Still and Know. As guide, teacher and mentor, I understand prayer, meditation and creative expression to be ways of sensing what is essential and to discern what is not. The Sacred needs no proof. It may only be offered...and received. The Sacred will be recognized when each of us has prepared and opened for regeneration. We practice to strengthen neglected or devalued sensitivities and affirm our cooperation with The Source.
