C.J. Watson is an author, philanthropist, and former NBA player whose mission extends far beyond the basketball court. His children's book series, CJ's Big Dream, was created to inspire young readers to chase their dreams and work hard for what they want, a message rooted in his own life journey.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Watson graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology before going on to play for some of the most storied franchises in NBA history. The discipline and determination that defined his professional career now fuel his passion for empowering the next generation through storytelling and community service.

Philanthropy has long been a cornerstone of Watson's life. He established a scholarship fund in honor of his late grandmother, Mary L. Watson, supporting students pursuing degrees in education. He also founded the Quiet Storm Foundation in his hometown of Las Vegas, which provides youth with opportunities for social skills development, health and fitness activities, and tools to help them grow and achieve their goals.

Whether he's writing, giving back, or mentoring young people, C.J. Watson is committed to making a lasting impact, one page and one community at a time.
