Britney Jackson is a multi-award-winning author of LGBTQ speculative fiction. She’s adored books for as long as she can remember and has loved writing for almost as long.

She has a passion for writing honestly about mental illness and trauma and for creating the kinds of heroes she needed when she was younger. Jackson centers her books around strong, lesbian and bisexual women who find courage, love, and happy endings.

She resides in Alabama with her two kids and cat. She has a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts and Religion and did her graduate work in English.

Her sapphic fantasy novel, PIRATES OF ALETHARIA, won a Goldie Award in 2022, and its sequel, GODDESS OF THE SEA, won a Goldie Award in 2025. She’s currently at work on the third book of the series, titled THE DRAGON CHILD.
