Brian Hand writes thrillers that explore ambition, loyalty, moral compromise, and the lasting consequences of impossible choices. His fiction is inspired by four decades of building companies, investing in entrepreneurs, and observing how power, ambition, and hidden motives shape people's lives.

Ripples In Their Wake, his debut novel, is set in contemporary Chicago, where Ry Birk and his tightly knit circle of childhood friends guard a shared past of guilt, silence, and moral compromise. Their fragile peace fractures when echoes of a decades-old plane crash return. As the line between justice and vengeance blurs, Ry finds himself trapped in a web of long-buried secrets where every answer reveals another lie.

Brian lives and writes in Chicago, a city that serves as more than a backdrop in his fiction. He is currently at work on his next novel.
