I am sixty-five years old, disabled and have been on dialysis for the last twenty-one years. I have four sessions of treatment a week and try and use this time to do my writing. I have had two failed kidney transplants, one lasting four hours and the other lasting for six hours. Up until five years ago, I was a well known match angler with hundreds of match wins to my credit. I was forced to retire from this time because of my poor health (I had six mini strokes) and that is when I started writing. I only began using a computer three years ago and I can now type two-handed, before that I used to pay to have my handwritten work typed up. I enjoyed writing the 'The Naughty Gnome' book and I have two more children's books being illustrated as we speak, so watch this space. Cheers, Brian.
