Blake Jessop is a Montana-born storyteller who writes with the heart of the American West. Raised in the Bitterroot Valley and shaped by years working across the wide plains of Montana and North Dakota, Blake brings real dirt-under-the-nails authenticity to every tale he tells. A former oil-field hand and now a residential electrician, he’s lived the rugged life his characters face — the long days, hard weather, loyalty, grit, and the quiet beauty of wide-open country. His novels blend real history with bold characters, romance, danger, and the raw truth of frontier living. When he’s not writing, Blake can be found spending time with his dog Izzy, exploring backroads, or enjoying the Montana landscape that inspires his stories. He is the author of The Numbers Balance, Hell on the Yellowstone, The Toughest Town In Montana and Where the Sun Now Stands, with more historical fiction on the way.
