Blair Harton wrote her award-winning debut novel, Love, Lydie, as a new mother living in Monterey, California. While there, she also attended sailing school at Sail Monterey, which inspired part of her second novel, Blue Miracle, a YA/Adult crossover coming-of-age romantic drama. She began writing Blue Miracle in Alexandria, Virginia, and completed it before moving to Ankara, Turkey, where it was later published in 2025. She currently lives in Ankara with her husband and two daughters. When she's not dreaming up new stories, she can be found cooking, camping, or enjoying a nice glass of Chardonnay.
