Betty M Reeves is currently researching and writing "Expecting and Encountering the Messiah," Christian/biblical historical fiction for adult readers. She is the author of "The Story of Glops," an eleven-book biblical historical fiction series for children, middle grade, teen, and young adult readers. Two of her "Glops" books debuted at #1 in their categories on Kindle and Amazon, and four were nominated for Christian Indie Awards and Illumination Book Awards in Christian-themed books. Betty writes short stories, one of which placed third in the Caprock Writers & Illustrators Anthology contest. She has written two music books: "Melody Street: Story and Illustrations" and "Guitars & Folk Songs: An Anthology" especially for parents and children or for teachers and students. Melody Street is listed in the internationally recognized catalog, Kodály-Related Publications. Betty is an author, audiobook producer, musician, self-publisher, and founder of Betty’s Music & Publishing. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Christian Indie Books, Texas Authors Museum & Institute, Texas High Plains Writers Association, Caprock Writers & Illustrators Alliance, Word Weavers Critique Group, Literary Ladies Book Club, Amarillo Master Chorale, and First Baptist Church. Betty holds degrees from West Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University. She and her husband, Glenn, are native Texans with a large family and a small Yorkie.
