Beto Salinas is a full time engineer who writes about the things that matter: building strong families, connecting across cultures, and becoming the kind of man worth following. He grew up in Monterrey, Mexico, playing college soccer and football, before moving to Texas where he now raises his kids (Nico and Ellie) with his wife. His mornings start with jiu jitsu training before the chaos of parenting and engineering work begins. His writing started when he taught his Mexican American wife Spanish from scratch (she knew very little, now she's fluent). That became Mexican Spanish For Real, written under his alter ego Tío Chulo, teaching the unfiltered slang Mexicans actually use. As a former college athlete (soccer and football), he writes Inspiring Sports Stories that teach kids about perseverance and teamwork. He shares his jiu jitsu journey through beginner friendly guides. But his real passion? Writing about marriage, fatherhood, and what it takes to be a great husband and dad. Those books are coming. He lives in Texas with his wife and kids, where they raise chickens, chase dreams, and build a home grounded in faith and family.
