Beth E. Heinzeroth White is a registered nurse and author whose decades of experience in adult critical care, pediatrics, and perinatal nursing inspire the emotional realism of her stories. A Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with a special interest in pediatric palliative care, Beth writes with the insight of someone who has lived the highs and heartbreaks of hospital life. She is co-author of two award-winning nonfiction books, In the Shadows: How to Care for Your Seriously Ill Adult Child and Caps, Capes and Caring: The Legacy of Diploma Nursing Schools in Toledo, and author of the Kit Wilson, RN fiction series, where nursing meets courage, compassion, and the art of rediscovering normal. Beth lives in northwest Ohio, where she continues to champion compassionate care and the stories behind the scrubs.
