My name is Fredlyne Evbuomwan. I was born in the vibrant city of Benin, in Edo State, Nigeria. I was raised by my grandfather, a respected native doctor, and from an early age I was introduced to the rich spiritual heritage of African culture through sacred rituals, drumming, and reverence for the unseen. These early experiences shaped my sensitivity to the spiritual, emotional, and deeper dimensions of human life. My journey took a profound turn when I encountered a life-changing Christian experience in Benin City that led me to surrender my life to God. Immersed in this environment, I developed my musical gifts, learned several instruments, and later led the church choir. This led to the formation of The Anointed Singers, a vocal group known for inspiring many through music and worship. With the support of my church, I trained in ministry under Rev. Tunde Adeleye at Living Church of Mission, where Prof. F. E. Oronsaye served as my pastor. My calling in music and ministry took me across several African nations, the Cape Verde Islands, and later to Munich, Germany. In Munich, my journey expanded as a performing artist in a professional studio, where I released my single Alama. This opened doors for a European tour, allowing me to share messages of hope across cultures. I later settled in Portugal, where I raised my family and deepened my spiritual journey under Apostle Tadeu at Manner Church in Lisbon. My passion for global connection led me to Japan, where I studied with the Assemblies of God Japanese Mission, focusing on Evangelism Beyond Ordinary (EBO), a programme that reshaped my understanding of ministry and cross-cultural engagement. In 2017, I relocated to the United Kingdom, where I founded The Voice of Hope Ministry, a platform dedicated to healing, restoration, and personal transformation. Alongside ministry, I serve as a Senior Healthcare Assistant at Nottingham University Hospitals (TEAM NUH), combining compassion, empathy, and excellence in care. In 2025, I was honoured to receive four NUH VIP Awards for Kindness, OneTeam, Inclusion, and Ambition. I was also nominated twice for the NHS Tulip Award by both a patient’s family and my former ward manager. These recognitions reflect my deep commitment to patient-centred care, dignity, and human connection. Currently, I am studying to become a clinical psychologist, integrating academic knowledge with lived experience to better understand the human mind, emotional resilience, and pathways to healing. My work seeks to bridge psychology, spirituality, and compassionate care in order to support individuals, families, and communities. I am also a community leader, actively involved in diaspora initiatives that promote unity, empowerment, and social impact. As an author, my writing spans spiritual growth, psychology, leadership, fiction, and children’s literature. Some of my works include Decisions: The Silent Architects of Our Lives, Knock on Every Door, Whose God Is This?, The Man Who Called Himself God, The Shadows Within Series, Niwaka, Who Is to Blame?, and The Transformative Power of Care, among others. I share motivational and spiritual content across social media, encouraging people to embrace purpose, healing, and growth. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief in humanity. I see the interconnectedness of all people across cultures and continents. My life, ministry, healthcare work, and writing are all expressions of this conviction: When we live with kindness, courage, and compassion, we do not only serve the world— we help lift it.
