B.G. Harvey was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and educated at THE Ohio State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in history with a specialization in futurism, and later Kent State University for his Master of Library and Information Science. He continues to write books inspired by his love of all things science fiction and fantasy, and is the proud owner and operator of HARVEY WRITING WORKS LLC. He currently teaches middle and high school English at a private Christian school in central Ohio and coaches for an area rowing team.
