Avah Rivers writes straight from the emotional upheaval that life triggers into words, documenting the strange, the normal, the frightening, and the everyday jumble that defines what dissociative identity disorder is.

She believes that everyone that struggles with this disorder tries daily to make sense of it and how it applies to themselves, and that by sharing her journey, both past and present, can help someone else feel less alone and perhaps more understood.

Testimony has power in that it can help to set others free. That is the premise of the creation of this book, and the others that will follow.
