Dr. Augusto Cury is a psychiatrist, researcher, teacher, and writer. Considered the best-selling psychiatrist in the world, translated for over 70 countries and with over 35 million books sold in Brazil alone, he is the best-selling author in the last 2 decades. He is the author of the Multifocal Intelligence Theory (MIT), which is used in postgraduate studies, currently adopted by the University of São Paulo. MIT theory studies the functioning of the human mind, the unconscious phenomena that build thoughts, and it aims to shape thinkers. Also, the historical role of the Self as the mind theater manager, as well as the leadership of the Self as the author of its own story. Honor member of the Academy of Geniuses at the European Intelligence Institute, Augusto Cury teaches training for a diverse audience that is faithful to its content. He was awarded by the Chinese Academy of Letters for the book “The Dreams Seller” in 2009 and had that book transformed into a film, by Warner/Fox, and adapted for the theater. He was recently nominated for Bibi Ferreira Award, one of the most important theater awards in Brazil. The books "The smartest man in history", "Never give up on your dreams" and "The Living Forest Team" also gained adaptations for the theater and were also a blockbuster throughout Brazil. Creator of pioneering projects, such as the School of Intelligence (educational program based on his theory, with over 400,000 students in Brazil); School of Menthes; The Academy of Emotion Management (with over 100,000 online students) and the MultiSer Emotion Management Center, which aim to help children, youth and adults become the authors of their own story, by learning how to manage and protect their emotions, managing stress and anxiety to build healthy relationships. Augusto Cury is also creator of the first free social program - You Are Irreplaceable -, a program that intends to be an emotional vaccine against suicide.
