Aubrey Rhodes was born in Ennistymon, County Clare, Ireland. Adolescence was spent in Cornwall, UK. The Secret of Province House is Rhodes' first novel. Aubrey currently lives between Dublin, Ireland and Ronda, Spain. The author's passions include literature, Arabian horses, Tibetan Terriers and Havanese dogs. Guiding authors are Marguerite Yourcenar, Mary Ann Evans, Edward Gibbon and Sigmund Freud. Rhodes is also an admirer of the films of Yasujiro Ozu, Michelangelo Antonioni, and Joanna Hogg.
