Athena lives with her high school sweetheart and their three kids, on their family’s horse farm in southern Ontario. The animals far outnumber the humans but she couldn’t have dreamed up a better place to love her people and write her stories. When she’s not creating happily ever afters for her fictional friends, she can be found on her back deck reading with coffee in hand. After experiencing deep loss, Athena started writing stories that combine love and loss for people across the world to feel seen in their grief. She hopes that her words bring some of the hope and comfort that she finds when reading romance novels. Love conquers all isn’t just for fiction but the consistency we find there sure helps! No regrets. Take the trip, buy the cottage, eat the ice cream, and write the book (or books).
