Astrid Pfister was born on June 23, 1980 in Westerholt, currently lives in Herne and works as a lecturer. She started writing in 2004. To date, over seventy of her short stories have been published in anthologies and notebooks, including by Bastei. In addition, fifteen novels, five volumes of short stories and a volume of poetry have been published by various publishers such as Bastei Lübbe, Midnight by Ullstein and BLITZ Verlag. In addition, between 2006 and 2013, she published together with the author Bernd Rothe, the book series Welt der Geschichten and the booklet series Pulp Magazine for the publisher Hary Production.
