Arnold V Page has been a Methodist minister and missionary in Chile; the pastor of an evangelical church; a professional software developer, and a senior engineering research scientist. He founded the charity Chile for Christ. Since 2012, having authored some 30 technical books and publications, he has reinvented himself as a Christian author. He remains a professional member of the Institution of Materials, Minerals & Mining and of the Institute of Wood Science, and is an active member of Hope Elim Church in the village of Lane End in Buckinghamshire. In 2010 Arnold began to investigate the subject of health and nutrition. Motivation came from his wife Ann's Type 2 diabetes, his brother-in-law's death from a heart attack at the age of only 40, and issues with weight among other family members. His book 'Twenty-First Century Nutrition and Family Health', was the result of four years' study of over 500 peer-reviewed research papers. After adopting the diet and exercise plan he produced as a result of this study, he succeeded in climbing sixteen 3000ft high mountain peaks in 24 hours at the age of 70, while his wife Ann was cleared by her GP from the need to take medication for Type 2 diabetes. Arnold firmly believes the Bible's account of creation and its promise of a new earth to come, and his book "God, Science and the Bible" convincingly explains his reasons for this. "Z: The Final Generation" explains his further belief that Jesus Christ will keep his promise to return as King around the year 2033. In August 2020 he published "Unearthly Passion", a novel for New Adults about a fostered student who is seeking purpose, identity and love at Edinburgh University. As the student in question is a girl, "Unearthly Passion" is published under the pen name of Vincy Page. An audiobook version has been recorded.
