Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, I’ve always been drawn to stories that keep readers turning pages long after bedtime. That love of storytelling eventually led me to earn a degree in journalism and mass communication with a minor in writing, but my real education came from a lifetime spent getting lost in books. Today, I live in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains with my husband, our two children, and three dogs. When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me reading, exploring new story ideas, or adding far too many books to my ever-growing to-be-read list. I write under both April R. Wilson and Sunny Wilson, creating stories that blend mystery, suspense, supernatural intrigue, and unforgettable characters. Whether I'm crafting a chilling horror novel, a supernatural adventure, or a mystery filled with twists, I love exploring the thin line between the ordinary and the unknown.
