After moving to the United States from Cameroon as a teenager, Kwamu built a career that began in public education, where he taught history, literature, economics, and geography before answering the call to serve as an active-duty U.S. Army officer. Today, as both a military leader and certified Army historian, he draws upon his professional experience and lifelong passion for history to craft compelling works that range from deeply researched historical narratives to intense military-driven speculative fiction. Alongside his wife and son, Kwamu embraces the ever-evolving journey of Army life, relocating every few years as new assignments carry him and his family to different parts of the world.
