Ann Saffi Biasetti is a seasoned psychotherapist with more than 35 years of experience helping people heal and thrive. A Transpersonal Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Certified Yoga Therapist, Ann specializes in bridging the mind–body connection to support deep, lasting healing. An expert in eating disorders and trauma recovery, Ann integrates somatic therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion into her work. She is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Teacher, as well as an author, speaker, consultant, and educator dedicated to advancing embodied approaches to healing. Ann is the creator of The Befriending Your Body Program™, the first somatic recovery program of its kind, and she certifies professionals around the world in facilitating this work. She also teaches continuing education courses through PESI and trains yoga teachers and therapists through her school, An Embodied Life. Her forthcoming book, Your Body Never Meant You Any Harm (Summer 2026), joins her earlier works, Befriending Your Body and The Awakening Self-Compassion Card Deck. Ann lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she finds joy in yoga, meditation, and time in nature. Above all, she treasures her role as a mother to three wonderful grown children.
