Ann O’Mara Heyward is an award-winning horror writer. Her quiet horror fiction considers how people react when everyday settings and situations suddenly turn bizarre and unsettling. Her short fiction has won The Ghost Story's Supernatural Fiction Award and is currently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has been published in multiple horror anthologies. In addition to her fiction, she is currently at work on a nonfiction book about horror films. She lives near Cleveland, Ohio with her husband.
