Ann K. Howley’s debut novel, The Memory of Cotton, is a Next Generation Indie Book Award winner. She is an award-winning writer for Pittsburgh Parent Magazine and author of a humorous memoir, Confessions of a Do-Gooder Gone Bad, which won a TAZ Book Award in 2014. She is an adjunct writing instructor, conducts workshops in cities across the country, and enjoys hosting weekend writing retreats for aspiring authors. When she isn’t writing, she loves to travel all over the country in a converted campervan with her husband and two dogs.
