Anji Van Aken is a pseudonymous writer, born in San Francisco and now living in the Pacific Northwest. When she was young, she wrote books, danced, read comics, and did endless cartwheels before giving it all up to pursue more pragmatic pastimes. Anji holds three advanced degrees: an Associate's in Apparel Design, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Master’s in Physician Associate Studies. Anji works in Oncology and is inspired by her patients’ determination to reclaim each day as a gift. She writes books inspired by comics and by bearing witness to life’s joys and tragedies. In her free time, she can be found traveling, dancing ballet, or cartwheeling on the beaches of the Oregon coast alongside her dreamy husband and two truly, genuinely, excellent children.
