Angela is a dedicated author and mental health advocate, as well as the co-founder of Mindful Matters Institute — a consulting company committed to empowering individuals on their journey toward balanced and fulfilling lives. The Institute provides evidence-based resources to support healing after narcissistic or emotional abuse. Angela offers a unique and compassionate perspective on emotional healing. With firsthand experience, she deeply understands the complex and often invisible struggles that survivors of childhood trauma and C-PTSD face. Her work explores the multifaceted path to thriving after emotional abuse — from identity rebuilding to boundary-setting and self-trust. Angela holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Public Administration from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Georgetown University. She has published papers in peer-reviewed academic journals and written articles for international organizations. “I believe emotional healing begins with ownership — a willingness to go to the root, take responsibility for your well-being, and choose self-care as a daily act of self-respect.”
