Andy C Wareing is a British author best known for his humorous, true-life travel adventures, although he has been known to wander into horror and science fiction when nobody is looking.

After spending more than fifteen years living in Atlanta, Georgia, Andy returned to the UK via a somewhat ill-timed stay in Spain during the pandemic. That particular adventure inspired Mistakes Were Made and, perhaps unwisely, encouraged him to become a full-time author.

His books now include The Petrolhead Travelogues, a series of true motorcycle adventures drawn from journeys across Europe and beyond, The Dog-Eared Travelogues, and works of horror and science fiction.

His travel books combine real journeys, interesting people, spectacular places and the sort of questionable decision-making that usually makes for a much better story afterwards.

Andy now lives in leafy Somerset with his wife and two dogs, Archie and Pi. He still rides motorcycles, still travels whenever possible, and remains firmly of the opinion that getting slightly lost is considerably more interesting than knowing exactly where you're going.
