My Latest book is Norfolk's Pilgrim Routes. Once, Norfolk was spidered with pilgrim routes, leading to sacred sites including Walsingham, Bromholm Priory and Norwich. When Henry VIII banned pilgrimage and outlawed the veneration of Saints, those routes were forgotten. Now they are being revived. My new book, Norfolk's Pilgrim Routes: A History of Paths, Places and People is both a celebration, and a practical guide to pilgrimage in the county. It follows on from my earlier book, London to Walsingham Camino: the Pilgrimage Guide, which has led to the revival of the medieval pilgrim path from the capital to England's greatest holy shrine.
