Andre Jones - very much like his alter egos Andre Jones (please check my other author profile) and A. A. Jones - were all born in Wollongong, NSW, Australia, and currently reside in southern France with his very understanding Scottish wife and a Jack Russell Terrier. (My wife is the understanding one, Gordon, the Jack Russell isn't so … ) As a child, he devoured the works of Enid Blyton, Tolkien, McCaffrey, Asimov, Heinlein and Bradbury, just to name a few. As a young adult, he got lost in the many and varied roleplaying games, including MERP, GURPS, Harn, Skyrealms of Jorune, good old D&D (and its many variants) and Traveller … and spent far too much time on video games like Skyrim. He wore many hats including: Security Officer, Police Officer, Park Ranger and finally as a Petty Officer in the Royal Australian Navy for 18 years (sadly, his role-playing stopped there for too long). As a Navy Veteran, his retirement has provided the opportunity to write, roleplay, draw and potter to his heart’s content. The Seven Portals series (Epic Fantasy) is complete, with all three books also available in audiobook format. I am now working on a new Urban Fantasy (Death Wave Chronicles) - RELIC, DRUID, and SPHINX (books 1, 2 & 3) are out now in Kindle. Also (what author doesn't have several projects going?) I am working on another epic fantasy series inspired by Black Sails. This series will be called Red Sails. (Anyone guess what it will be about? ;) He also recently started writing books under pseudonyms - that being A J Gordon (ICONIC, a military sci-fi) and A A Jones (Gnome Henge - Children's Books). You can find these books by the author's name.
