A former journalist turned copywriter and content strategist, Allison has spent more than a decade telling stories for businesses, brands, and now, thankfully, fictional people who are far less likely to request revisions.

When Allison isn't writing, she's probably baking something chocolate-flavored, dreaming up a new story, reading entirely too many books, or convincing herself that it's fine to eat one more piece of cake she purchased at the grocery store for absolutely no reason.

She lives in Nebraska with her husband, daughter, and three dogs. She firmly believes life's too short to skip dessert.
