Alina Levytska was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 1989, just before the country broke away from the USSR. Growing up during the 90s, she experienced Ukraine's transformative years and personal challenges. Alina pursued education, earning a Master's in English linguistics and taking online courses at Wesleyan University. After graduating, Alina sought opportunities abroad. She lived in the USA and China, working various jobs to support herself, from housekeeping in the US and serving on cruise lines, to a stint at a film company back in Ukraine. It was in China that Alina began to truly focus on her passion for art and acting. She started her artistic journey as a painter and was recognized with exhibitions and art residencies in Qingdao, Shenzhen. And Hing Kong. Alongside her visual arts, Alina has always had a love for writing. She writes in Russian, Ukrainian, and English, and her first play has already caught attention in playwright contests. Today, Alina is not just a writer or painter; she's an all-around artist, exploring everything from sculpting to performance art. She's a testament to resilience and the power of following one's passion.
