Al Guart writes spiritual/philosophical non-fiction. He is known as a veteran NYC crime reporter who was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize twice for investigative work published during his 11 years at the New York Post. He also wrote for Agency France Presse, magazines and other newspapers, and went on to produce investigative segments for CBS News for two years after being recruited by Dan Rather. Al has also been featured on Biography, A & E, VICE and other programs to speak about organized crime or high-profile criminal cases.

His most ambitious work, Trajectory: The Meaning of Life, is about to be released. It takes readers on a journey through common milestones of human development to help them discover the purpose of our existence. Along the way, questions about whether God exists or if there is an afterlife are explored with stunning outcomes.

Trajectory follows Al's first book, Beyond the Sphere: Encounter with the Divine. Judges for the National Indie Excellence Awards and the International Book Awards recognized it as an outstanding book about spirituality.
