Alexandra Slater is the author of three women's fiction novels. She is also an award-winning journalist who received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing when she worked as a reporter for NPR. Alex graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English Literature and attended Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. She's currently enrolled at University of Massachusetts's MFA in Creative Writing program. She lives with her husband, children, and two dogs.
