I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. Growing up, I was encouraged to explore my active imagination. I have always been a down to earth guy with a deeply rooted passion for animals. The world is such a vast and wonderful place I remain amazed by the stunning variety of wildlife and have gone to great lengths to better understand and implement what we can do to preserve species. I have always enjoyed reading fantasy stories that were slightly off the main path. The variety of authors and topics opened newer avenues of possibilities for me. The writing bug took hold early on and I decided the time was ripe for a fantasy adventure filled with anthropomorphic main characters in new settings. When I am not writing I enjoy photography. My greatest passion in life is telling stories and making art. Both of these I intend to keep doing for years to come.
