The books are written for readers who enjoy traditional heroic fantasy, quests that grow into wars, ancient mysteries, Great Beasts, dragons, Aelf and Dwarves, and stories in which loyalty, sacrifice and duty still have meaning.

Andersson’s interest in mythology, human behaviour and the choices people make under pressure has shaped both his fiction and his life. Before becoming a full-time writer, he served in the Royal Air Force, worked in education and later spent many years as a Probation Officer.

Chaos and Creation began with a simple idea: what happens when an ordinary person discovers that the world is far larger, older and more dangerous than he ever imagined?
