A. L. Griffy is a writer, artist, and narrator who finds the industry standard of writing about himself in the third person a bit absurd, but as a rogue wordsmith, he’s willing to play along. Based along the Front Range of Colorado, he originally wrote Gateway to the Wilds—the first book in his Compass Bearers of Alluria series—for his two daughters, stepping up to create the kind of story he felt they were missing in the world. The resulting fantasy series is filled with quick wit, wordplay, and thoughtful adventure. An avid narrator, he also recorded the audiobook edition, lending unique voices to the different characters.
