I listened to Whit awhile ago and I liked the story, but none of the other characters peaked me interest. Now with this book I instantly fell in love with Bane and Teddy. I was glad to see Bane has his book, but as of yet nothing for Teddy. fingers crossed.

I prefer this series as its Mafia style, so has more grit and violence. definitely aligns better with my taste. The spice does take awhile to get to, but once they get going they do not stop lol.

I did worry towards the end that the story might be rushed. But the author did well not to go too extra or throw in extra twists. It stayed in its lane and I felt that gave a satisfying ending. No complaints from me.

The narrator did an awesome job. After I finish this series, I will definitely check out his other work.

This is without a doubt the best solo audio I've ever listen to. Zane Daniels did a supreme job at narrating all the characters and captured Tatum and his hilarious inner monologues and bratiness absolutely perfectly👌The tention between Anthony and Tatum was palpable, the chemistry electric and Zane delivered it all like a master. This was such a great start to a brilliant series and I'm so glad the audio did the story justice 👏👏

BRILLIANT!! absolutely loved this book. aaSo much sass and sexy throughout. Bane is a hilarious character. Tthere aren't enough books in this series. I'd love one of Bane.

Such an easy read! I was so excited when I learned this was a spin off to the Unexpected series (just finished that) I actually had this book (physical copy) before I’d even heard of Whit etc, luckily and by chance I read Whit first and fell in love with Cora’s writing. I then remembered I had this book and couldn’t believe it was a spin off! I Really loved getting to know Tatum, Anthony and Angel more! I Can’t wait for Angels story next 🥰 also loved the little Diablo and Skylar cameo just wish we seen a little more of them. Honestly I have to admit that I think Bane is the best character in this book, he is adorable and such a happy little unhinged psycho, I loved Luca too. Overall really enjoyed the book BUT not the Audio- it has some issues and I really do not like this narrator he’s either far too breathy or constantly sounds on the verge of being out of breath which is so annoying..and he can’t manage multiple voices, he’s just nowhere near talented enough unfortunately - it also didn’t sound clean with weird background noise occasionally.

Well worth a credit!

The absolute highlight of this audio is Tatum's inner ramblings, I don't know if there's ever been a hornier boy written! I laughed out loud more times that I could count. Zane effortlessly jumped from Tatum to Anthony and back which I loved, I need an obvious switch when it's a solo voice actor or I'm easily confused, but this audio was so easy to follow and I could always tell who was who. The few times Zane shouted I had literal goosebumps, the raw emotions this man can make you feel through his voice is unexplainable! I also loved the effect for the phone calls!

I gave this 5 stars when I read it and it's an even easier 5 stars for the audio ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh and chapter 16 will live rent free in my head FOREVER.
