I started this journey and still love, Rina Kent and Ruby Darling. Incredible dark romance authors but if someone had told me a year later my heart was broken by a man who likes to make necklaces from eyeballs and thumbs, well I would have recoiled.
But here we are. Bane’s character is over the top but there is something so innocent about him and despite his love for blood and mayhem, he needs cuddles and love to heal the damage that was done to him. The fiction side is exaggerated obviously but the actually heartbreaking story of abuse is a lot. The writing is both heartbreaking, hilarious and heartwarming. You know it’s going to be what it is going in the violence etc is what you already know. It’s fiction done well which ends with you wanting this man protected at all costs. Narration was great. Loved the series X
