This series is getting more and more thrilling and so much more interesting! it's like diving into a whole new world, everything is new, thrilling and interesting but there is danger in the unknown too. This series is going beyond my expectations, I can never guess what is about to happen and each new creature that presents itself.

I'm hooked and captivated by the writing, these men, the world and the thrill of what could possibly happen next!!!!

This series continues to blow me away. Nothing Ventured is packed with action and suspense and Sawyer’s mates must work hard to get him away from danger. The new guardian is introduced in a spine-tingling way. He’s a really interesting character and I can’t wait to see how he works out with the rest of the group.

Like book one, this one is also seriously hot as fire. Michael Dean’s voice adds just the right amount of tension when needed and he does great voices for all of the different characters. I never have trouble telling any of them apart. I’m looking forward to diving into the next book very soon.

I am fascinated by the newest guardians, how will Sawyer make this work? I also like how even goddesses have limits in this series.

There was more hot sex, I heartily approve, although I snorted at the "Will die unless penetrated"-plot twist.

Next book, wohoo!

This is the second book in The Chosen One series and cannot be read as a stand alone.

Someone is trying to kill Sawyer, so all the guys decamp to Eduard's cottage on his father's estate, an island. It should be a safe place, but things are not what they seem and danger finds Sawyer.

I found this a much less smexy read, but no less good. Its much more about the emotional toll this is having on Sawyer, Henry, Eduard, Draco and Andvari. We also meet Saeward, the 5th Guardian to find Sawyer and he finds him in spectacular fashion!

We meet a 6th Guardian too, however, I'm already half way through book 3 on writing this and *something* isn't quite right there!

I'm loving this series, and I'm loving the stunning narration being delivered by Michael Dean. His voices for the guys are consistent across all the books. And that to me, is the most important thing.

the only thing I wish, even how good Micheal is a voicing these characters, I just wish he would take his time reading the love scenes, not so loud and rushed, make his voice sultry instead of rushing n loud.

I love how the characters grow together so well, how they love and protect Sawyer.
