So much happens! so many answers but still more questions. I found this one interesting in it's storytelling. it's a continuing story for sure but Macy leaves small openings for you to fill in the gaps and if you're anything like me and so engrossed in the story you might miss the subtile hints scattered throughout. At moments things are tense and confusing then the next a question is answered. I kind of like that Macy makes you think and puzzle while reading but at times so much is happening you can so easily get lost. This one is the gear up to a war and I'm scared for what will happen next...

Sawyer has now found 6 of his eight guardians and mates and to say things are heating up is an understatement. Still reeling from finding out he's The Chosen One, son of a goddess but has no actual power of his own and is expected to fix the broken magic in his world Sawyer is a bit of a hot mess. He has no idea what he's meant to do and he's getting weaker by the day. To make things even more complicated there's another guardian out there who refuses to show himself.

Aagghh every time I think I can't fall more in love with this series I read the next book and BAM ... all the feels. Amazing story, with amazing characters. Wonderfully written, brilliant storytelling. This author has created such a wonderful world with amazing characters and plots, I find myself not wanting to leave.

Can't wait for the next one that's for sure.

I have devoured the last three books in this series because I couldn’t wait any longer to finish it. Nothing Gained continues the action and adventure, the hot smexy time between all of the fated mates, and the mystery of what it is that Sawyer must do. I’m diving in to the next book STAT!.

In the last book, Sawyer discovered the fairy prince was not his mate (thank goodness). No, it’s the fairy prince’s bodyguard, Locke. Locke carries some deep secrets, but he’s quickly incorporated into the growing menage. He’s number six, and Sawyer is pretty sure the creature just beyond the view of the house is the seventh. He’s called by this creature, and wants to do right by him. But Dakota sees more than most, and is very wary.

Sawyer is being cared for by Cecil, but even those ministrations aren’t enough. He loses much of his power when he’s not surrounded by his mates – and there is one left to find. Will they find him in time? And why has Sawyer made the choices he has to this point? The finding of mates is proving a doable task – undoing the mess he created when he gave up his powers and took human form is not. But the final confrontation is coming, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.

Quick should out to Michael Dean who is doing an awesome job narrating this series and I can’t wait to see how it ends.
