Brilliant narration from Skyler Morgan, who brings everything to your ears, suspense, emotions, angst, drama and that heat.

Hunter is the youngest of the Fox brothers, let’s say on the best of days he is surly, he had served in special forces, then special dark op mercenary service. Now he only feels guilt, pain, nightmares and anger. Thinking about death is part of his day. Esme is the new chef at the resort, who knows how to push his buttons. The two of them fight and bicker. Esme has survived a past that is harrowing to the core. This has not stoped her being feisty, smart and will not take crap from anyone and that includes Hunter.
This book is full of suspense, deception, emotions, trust, humour and lets soo not forget the heat and steam.

An explosive and fitting end to this suspense filled series about the Fox brothers. Esme and Hunter were continually arguing and bickering until they gave in to their attraction. When Hunter starts getting threats and he and Esme are attacked he starts to wonder if his past is about to catch up with him. As he reaches out to a contact Hunter discovers that it is not just his past that is haunting him, but his father's past and present actions. When they discover the truth about their father and what happened to them they will find themselves having to make a decision, but not before they deal with a man from Hunter's past. Throughout all of it, it is Esme's light that will try to get through Hunter's darkness in the hope that they can have a future together. Brilliant. I could not stop listening to this book. I was literally holding my breath while listening to their story. Thank you Piper for an amazing series, I loved it.
