I couldn’t tear away from this book, it actually had me pacing in parts. Penelope Douglas is such a talented writer, making you feel so uncomfortable but also warming your soul at the same time! All of her books make me want sequels! This one is no different, I am just going to start the second book in the devils night series but omg do I want to just keep Michael and Rika’s story going!

I mean.. spicy (the steam room 🔥), dark, couldn’t stop listening! Definitely going for the next book!

the female narrator irritated me at times but overall both was good.
Loved the story, wanted to slap some characters in the head at times ,with a baseball bat🤷‍♀️
