It was surprisingly complex considering the shortness of the story. However the personalities came through and enough tension was included to avoid a cheesy love story without development. Had hoped though for more equal part of narration of male and female though but it did fit the story line. It’s a bit overwhelming to introduce so many different people and their stories but unavoidable to build on it for later stories I reckon but it took a bit from the main players in this story. Still all in all I’m curious and hopeful for further books in the series to add on to the first instalment.
