Summary

Discover the proven formula for winning grants through captivating proposals, straight from an expert’s playbook

Every now and then, nonprofits partner up with government agencies, foundations, and other such organizations to carry out projects—those with potential to change lives, improve scientific understanding, or for artistic works.

For you and your nonprofit, that means drafting a grant proposal, elaborating on your grand vision, and how you plan to make it a reality.

Sounds doable, right?

However, no matter how impressive your vision looks on paper, unless your proposal aligns with the goals of the organization you seek grants from, you’re bound to get rejected.

You might keep trying, slogging through proposal after proposal, but all it will do is lower your confidence, making it a struggle to sell your vision and win a grant.

If you're writing grant proposals, you need this

I couldn't recommend this audiobook more. Other resources on this topic pale compared to this one. If you know nothing about how to make your proposal or application stand out, this is going to be your new best friend. They even give you templates and samples for a visual support aspect to compliment the audiobook. Thanks so much, I'll be recommending this to my other friends in my network.

Exactly what I what I needed!

As a member of our local hockey committee, I am aware that at least one of us needs to have the ability to reach out and submit well-written and persuasive grant requests. In the past, this task was always delegated to others as I felt like I didn't possess the knowledge, nor skills, to create a highly persuading written proposal to fund our growing club's needs. This was a very instructional listen that has helped build the confidence to step up and write a few proposals on my own. Very grateful for this book.

Great info!

I got so much out of this book. I am a researcher that runs small projects in a country in S Asia, and I have always avoided applying for grants to help fund these projects. I was afraid not only of the application process, but also the follow up and accountability needed to fulfill the grants. I think I also feared rejection or refusal of my application, as I wasn't sure what was needed to write a compelling, comprehensive request. That has all changed! I am confident that by following the clear and concise steps in this book, I will be successful in winning funding and be able to grow my programs. I am excited to give this a try! This is an enjoyable and informative listen, and I highly recommend for anyone needing to grow their funding base.
