A game changer for parents!
This audiobook could well be one of the best tools at a parents disposal when it comes to understanding your child. What I really loved was how the book goes into detail on understanding how your child's brain works and how we can use this valuable information to better ourselves as parents.
The chapters on Why Kids Don't Listen and Gentle Discipline we particularly inspiring for me. It's fascinating stuff! I have a lot of friends with children so I'll be highly recommending this to them. The author has clearly has a lot of knowledge on the subject and I also liked the narrators voice.

Required listening for all parents! Gentle discipline is the best approach, for parents and children. Love the detail into child behavioral and developmental psychology here, as well as all of the actionable strategies for implementing new parenting techniques that instill discipline without compromising the relationship or creating extreme negative emotions that compound over time and harm children's development. A must-listen!

incredible for single parents
a divorce is hard enough but adding older kids to the mix is even harder - I've been struggling to bond with my kids since splitting with my ex. I've found so many strategies that I can implement that I finally feel like I can see the light. Thank you for creating such a gem of a book.

Great tips
If you are dealing with a kid who is not listening and is testing your patience all the time, listen to this book. It will guide you on how to change the way you will react when things are messed up, not to be mad, and stay patient. The book is all about connecting with your child before trying to fix things. It is full of great tips on how to talk to them better and how they can pay attention to you without all the drama. Parenting is not easy, but books like this, make everything easier and better.

A breath of fresh air!
I loved this audiobook's approach to parenting and it's very different from everything I've read or listened to before. I'm one of those parents who often struggle with discipline and well as emotional responses in many situations with my child. If you're like me (and you probably are, because, yes indeed, we're all humans), then you need this book. It helped me see my kid in a completely different way, with even more respect and compassion. The chapter about brain development presented in this book helps a lot to lay a foundation for understanding my child and establishing meaningful connections. And the chapter Why Kids Don't Listen? was eye-opening for me. I found the different scenarios and exercises presented in the book to be very useful. I always knew I was a good mother and after listening to this book I know I will become a better one.

a must-have book for meaningful and enjoyable life
As a parent, I read a lot of books about parenting. I thought I had learned most of everything but I wasn't. This book teaches practical strategies with easy language. I liked the visualization exercise and the giving of various realistic scenarios. this book has taught me a lot and one of my favorite parts was "Know yourself" chapter. I say "I love you" more than normal to my child after this book. thank you so much for making me a better parent and enjoying parenting. :)
