I've heard this series before, but without the snippets from Zig's son. These golden nuggets from Tom only help to reinforce Zig's message.
Having these on Audible allow rapid recaps via the x2 speed play back. I have this playing in my ears in the open plan office. Sure Zig would be proud of my '2for'
I work in the civil service; allot of good well intentioned people get emotionally drained at work due and worn out due soo many coworkers focusing only on their rights, and ignoring their responsibilities. One could easily Go with the flow. This audio will continue to motivate you to swim against that tide.
"Please cut Tom out!"
Zig's stuff was good, even though you its a lot of the same as his other stuff. Tom killed this book for me. He doesn't contribute anything useful or helpful.
DON'T buy this. Pick up some of Zig's other stuff instead.
Zig was fine, but cut out Tom!!
"Motivating with hope. Entertaining with joy"
I enjoyed listening this on the way to work everyday. The stories were so entertaining and applicable to all aspects of life it helped to wake me up in multiple ways; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
I decided to listen with my family at home and they enjoyed it so much that my 10 year old boy is asking "can we listen to zig ziglar after dinner". Wow what a great way to set a foundation in young and old to live for what is exceptional, to set meaningful goals, to build your life on a good moral foundation and to get what you need in life by helping others get what they need.
"Zig yes please! Tom, please, no."
Zig Ziglar's energy, influence and spirit is unmatched. That said, I don't normally enjoy the high energy motivational speakers that shout at me through the headphones on my morning walks. I roll my eyes at the quasi-sexist humor that is so common with the older generation. The "southern preacher" style, meh. But if it is Zig Ziglar, I'm there. Front row. Or in this case, every morning for 4 miles. I'll listen again, and again. Kind of like having an Uncle you absolutely adore, no matter how loud he is, because in that loudness is pure genius.
Too many to mention. Depends on the day.
Zig Ziglar: Inspired. Gifted. Generous. Tom Ziglar: Zig's son, trying. (With all due respect)
"Your Input determines your Outlook. Your Outlook determines your Output. Your Output determines your Future." Your life is a result of the choices you have made.
Zig Ziglar is a classic. HOWEVER... One of the lessons I've learned as a public speaker and host is one of Zig's rules: When you are introducing a speaker, never cut into his time. I can appreciate that Tom Ziglar loves his Dad, but I had to stop and forward through every time he interrupted this recording to repeat what his Dad just said, cutting into his time, often just as a Zig point was about to hit home. If Tom is the producer of this recording to keep his Dad's message alive, I thank him. But, please, let Dad talk without interruption.
"Get a different zig program without Tom."
Sorry Tom, can't stand the interruptions. Get a similar program without them. It's the standard Zig stuff by after every few minutes Tom comes in to add stuff. He adds nothing.
"Zig's probably rolling in his grave."
Repeatedly w narrator breaks in at the end of zigs speeches to remind you "this is copyrighted work, and it's only protected by your integrity. I've been listening to Zig for over 20 years and never once did he treat his listeners like a child. It's very negative, unnecessary to repeat it 5+ times. Come on now.
other Than the insecurities of the copyright owner, everything zig says is filled with gold.
"I listen and i feel pumped"
Great presentations. i feel pumped and ready to conquer the world when i listen to Zig.
"Very good at being motivational."
Very positive. Steps to taking action are a little burried within stories but good delivery. Would've been nice to have a pdf / workbook to go with this.
Listening to Zig is like plugging into a backup generator. His insight and wisdom is powerful, his energy is contagious!
Timeless principles and thoughts to be a better you! I have throughly enjoyed listening to this series and glad that I can listen to them over and over.
