The exciting new detective crime thriller

It doesn't matter how rich you are when death knocks at your door.

A killer stalks the streets of London, murdering the richest people in the capital. Is this the work of a serial killer, or just someone angry with the super rich? Or is there another reason why billionaires are being killed every three days?

Detective Inspector Simon Wise, reeling from the death of his partner and harbouring more than a few secrets of his own, is assigned to the case. But the killer leaves no clues as to their identity, only bodies in their wake, and each new death sends Wise's team in startling new directions.

As the pressure mounts on Wise to get a result, has he got what it takes to solve the case before the murderer strikes again?

Rich Men, Dead Men is the first book in the DI Simon Wise Crime Thriller series, set on the streets of London. If you like gripping police procedurals, complex characters, and shocking twists, then you’ll love Michael Dylan’s thrilling debut novel.

This gripping thriller is perfect for fans of Mark Billingham, Peter James, Joy Ellis, L.J. Ross, Alex Smith, and J.M. Dalgliesh.

Interesting story line and brilliantly told by Colin Mace. Looking forward to the next book.

Excellent

Kept me listening. Colin Mace is a brilliant narrator and one of my favourites. I knew if he was narrating then it’d be good. Lots of dialogue, which I like and very well plotted. Not as gritty as books I usually listen to but that’s fine. It’s a winner for me.

Found a new author and series.

His repetition becomes exceedingly tiresome of the protagonist remembering a past trauma. He must use the same sentence over 100 times in the book. I started listening to the second book and within minutes the same tedious sentence came up. Such a shame because the story itself other than the ludicrous repetition is very engrossing. These things stand out more with audiobooks. No room for hiding

Repetition

Very good, alongside the plot runs a real lifestyle story, and as an ex cop, this story has police credibility, though I struggle with what an ARO is, as opposed to AFO! Highly recommended...Onto book 2 and 3!

Liking this author!

Firstly, really clear & expressive, well paced narration - I was totally immersed in it throughout not wanting it to finish. Yes, repetitive in parts but this was the basis of the Detective’s problems so I could say it was just emphasis. Whatever, as a devotee of this genre, I immediately looked up the next in the series.

Brilliantly woven together
