A body with no clues. A killer with no heart. A cop with no hope.

When the body of a young woman is found on the banks of the River Thames, Detective Inspector Simon Wise is called to investigate. With his team at half-strength and still trying to deal with their own trauma, he hopes it's a straight-forward case. But London is a cruel city and Wise soon find himself hunting the most ruthless of killers.

Into the River Dead is the fourth book in the DI Simon Wise Crime Thriller series and set on the streets of London. If you like dark police procedurals, complex characters, and shocking twists, then you’ll love Michael Dylan’s pulse-pounding crime series.

Great narrator and a storyline that kept you guessing to the end can’t wait for next episode

Gripping

Having listened to the previous Simon wise books, I think sometimes I wonder whether they can get any better but this one did not display. I get completely immersed in the characters but there is always a disappointment when I finish because I just want there to be be another one on the horizon.

Loved This Book

Gripping stuff, great story and interweaving of characters and story lines. Cane and Abel all over again

Gripping stuff...

This is such an excellent book in the DI Simon Wise series by Michael Dylan.
Good story and of course the continuing anxiety about his brother - proper ‘omg’ moments and even biting my lip - especially at the end.
I am impatient for book 5 of course, and really hoping that his stupid DCI boss gets head butted & booted out.
Excellently narrated by Colin Mace.
Highly recommend this series.

Absolutely Cracking

Wise is a good cop, a good man, with an evil brother. The difficulty of solving a crime with the spectre of his brother hanging over him makes this a fantastic story. I wait with anticipation for the next book in the series.
