Gotrek and Felix Audiobook 4.

A journey back to civilisation is interrupted when Gotrek, Felix and their companions encounter a creature of myth – a legendary dragon! Caught between that flying rock and the hard place of an army of orcs, things look bleak....

Listen to it because

It's Gotrek and Felix vs a dragon, in one of the series most widely acclaimed entries. A dangerous race against time, multiple enemies and uneasy allies make this a true classic.

The story

Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask.

Gotrek and Felix head back towards the Empire aboard the arcane dwarf airship Spirit of Grungni. Tired and wounded from their adventures in the Chaos Wastes, the intrepid duo look forward to seeing friendly lands once more. But darker forces are at work and when a violent storm blows them into the Worlds Edge Mountains they disturb a deadly creature of legend which guards a vast golden hoard. With an army of rampaging orcs behind and a wrathful dragon ahead, things look bleak for Gotrek and Felix!

Each new book in this series just gets better and in this one funnier, there is such a choice of characters that it’s almost difficult to choose who you want to be the hero (Felix) but with greyseer thanquol and a sex mad dwarf in the mix it does make choosing hard, brilliant book superbly narrated as always

Brutally violent fights, amazing heroes being heroic, sublimely funny dialogue between characters and a heavy dose of gold fever.

Simply brilliant

A good story and good read, throughly recommend! I never had the chance to read the books so I'm grateful for the opportunity to hear the series.

So good to have this on Audible!

I really enjoy listening to this series. The amount of characters in Jonathan Keeble's voice is amazing and the way some of the situations are described from many characters' perspective really gives more depth to the whole story.

Amazing as always

Solid story but very predictable. The small part from Snorry's perspective was probably the most interesting part of the story.

Good but a bit too predictable
